India - The country that wants to become the global leader in textile recycling



In our recent discussion with France 2, the leading news channel of France, our Director, Gagan Kansal had the chance to show a glimpse of our textile recovery facility and also talk about the history of Panipat, India and how it became a global leader in recycling of used and discarded textiles from around the world.

For decades, used textiles from western countries like USA, Europe are exported to India, where they are sorted, recycled, repurposed and given a new life. Entereprenuers like Gagan, have found differrent uses and developed ways of recycling these used clothes and also generated hundreds of jobs for rural workforce in the process.
